Pulled Pork Sandwiches Recipe



Satisfy your cravings with these mouthwatering pulled pork sandwiches. Tender, flavorful pulled pork piled high on a soft bun, topped with your favorite barbecue sauce and coleslaw.

Prepare the Pork

Trim excess fat from the pork shoulder and season generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic in the bottom of a slow cooker.

Slow Cook the Pork

Place the seasoned pork shoulder on top of the onions and garlic. Pour the chicken broth and apple cider vinegar over the pork. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the pork is tender and falls apart easily.

Shred the Pork

Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Discard any excess fat.

Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine the cooking liquid from the slow cooker with brown sugar and additional barbecue sauce if desired. Simmer until slightly thickened.


Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Pile the shredded pork onto the bottom half of each bun. Drizzle with barbecue sauce and top with coleslaw.

Serve and Enjoy
